Create a card
The Card Generation process is simple using the RAPID System. The
first step entails obtaining the information from the applicant
individual, including validating reliable proof of identification
and entering that information into the RAPID Card Generation
database.
The entire Card Generation process can consistently be completed in
a matter of minutes. This characteristic of the RAPID System is
extremely important, particularly in high volume environments, such
as seaports, airports, and large office buildings, among others.
The next step in the RAPID Card Generation process involves
electronically scanning the individual's fingerprint, which is
auto-downloaded into the RAPID Card Generation or Registration
database. Additionally, a digital photograph is taken of the person,
which is also auto-downloaded into the database.
The final step in the RAPID Card Generation process is to print the
identification card, temporary or permanent.
The temporary card can be placed in a variety of plastic
"pockets" and are cost-effective, practical, and ideal for
a short-term validation, such as a visitor to an office building.
The permanent card is typically printed on a durable PVC plastic
card and ideal for a Driver's License or permanent identification.
The printing time for either card will vary depending on hardware
but typically takes less than one minute for completion.
